I’ve been reflecting back on our family vacation to Turks & Caicos.
It was a HARD trip. The twins are at the age of trying to learn how to communicate, and it often comes out as tantrums or whining. And Lovely & I are trying our hardest to not lose our minds. HA!
But as someone said, “The experience is worth more than the troubles.” So much yes! Witnessing them experience the sand and sea and Sesame Street characters was pure magic for me! They danced. They played. They clapped. They celebrated. All of the good things.
I wanted to recap our trip for you, and give you an idea of what to expect for your own family vacation to Beaches Resorts Turks & Caicos.
Kids Club | Even after having touring this resort and learning the behind the scenes of the kids club a couple of years ago, I was a bit leary of leaving my own kids there, and even felt quite guilty, promising them they wouldn't have to go again after picking them up. However, my mind was changed for two reasons! 1) We saw the kids club nannies over the fence (there is a fenced area with kiddie pool for the kids camp only) a couple of days later, and they called out to our littles by name. That blew me away with so many children! 2) Mama needed a break! Ha! Camp Sesame, as it is called, is chockfull of activities, crafts, character meetings, swimming (in their own special kid friendly sized pool), and so much more! BONUS: Camp Sesame and all of its featured activities are INCLUDED in your vacation price AND all of the nannies are internationally trained & certified!
Dining | If you go hungry at Beaches, you are either crazy or a mom or dad. Ha! In all seriousness, the food and selections are great! We just didn't have much time to enjoy them. #twintoddlers We were frequenters of the fire oven pizza, and weren't mad about it. This family loves some "pizzie" as the twins call it. Whether you are up for a casual breakfast, seaside lunch, or nice dinner just the two of you, there are so many options at this resort. Some 21 restaurants are available, so there is literally something for everyone. We particularly loved Schooners and Mario's! TIP: Check the restaurants hours (you'll receive the list at check-in), and plan to check out different options each day taking note of the days/hours open.
Kids Activities | I've already touched on Camp Sesame, but that is not all that Beaches has for the kiddos. A playground, pools, lawn games, and an INCREDIBLE waterpark are just a few of the other activities available for the kids, and kids at heart, to enjoy. I have to say the lazy river at the waterpark was a fave for me! I could have floated through there for hours on end. Along with the outside activties, there is plenty to do inside. Beaches boasts an X-Box lounge, arcade, tween & teen "clubs" (for the appropriate age group only, no adults), and so dang much more. Lastly, a favorite of our littles, the Sesame Street characters! The cast puts on shows, makes the occasional walk around the resort, give weekly parades, and more fun activities. The joy this brought our twins, well it made this hard trip SO worth it!
Beach | This is the crème de la crème as far as beaches go in the Caribbean, in not only my opinion, but the opinion of a slew of travel magazines and websites. Grace Bay, where Beaches Turks & Caicos is nestled, has been repeatedly voted among the best beaches in the world. It is by far the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The sugary white sand, the crystal clear waters, it is just immpecable! The resort offers lounge chairs, covered loungers, non-motorized water sports, and, drum roll, beach drink service! Gimme a lounger, book, cocktails on tap, and the sound of the waves. Yep, it's heaven on earth! You are definitely going to want to enjoy this beauty and the magic of the sand and sea with your kids, but here are a few things to note. The resort does not provide beach toys or life jackets/floaties for beach or pool use. So, keep this in mind when you are planning out your time and packing for your trip. You can buy these items at the gift shops, if available, but it is so much more economical to come prepared and pack these items in your luggage.
Adults | Wondering what the heck there is for you to do? Well, plop those kiddies in the kids club OR hire an after hours nanny (same trainings as those mentioned above), and enjoy an array of adults activities. Whether it is a dip in the adults only pool, dinner at the adults only restaurant, or enjoying some late night fun at one of the cars, there is plenty for mom and dad. The spa could also add to your experience and give you a little relaxation time while the kids play. Us? We enjoyed a little time at the beach without worrying about our twinnies running off into the ocean or having to clean mounds of sand out of baby booties. Ha! Whatever your choosing, there is plenty of fun for adults too!
And that is what traveling with family is all about—the experiences together! So grateful for our time away in a beautiful place with those I love most!
That is what I hope for others, to experience the world with their loved ones. So, are you ready for a family vacation? Contact me here to get started planning an unforgettable family vacation.
I’m so excited yet sad about today’s post! It is my last post on my trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort. But I’ve saved the best for last—all about the incredibly stunning beaches right on the resort! Beaches Turks & Caicos is set in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen—Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. The icing on the cake of this beautiful resort is the incredible beach setting! I know I am going overboard on the adjectives, but I cannot help myself! It is truly that stunning!
Whether you have an oceanview or oceanfront room, layout on a beach lounger, or sit in a beachside bar—there are an abundance of spots to admire the incredible beach scene at the resort. The resort boasts a long stretch of white sand with a beautiful Instagram spot, water sports activities, beach canopy chairs, and endless beauty! Along with the day, you’ll definitely want to spend at least one evening strolling along the beach to catch one of the incredible sunsets!
I can’t help but let the photos speak for themselves today, and just leave you with the beauty in photographs. If you are interested in seeing this incredible beach and resort in person, I would love to help you! Just complete the form on my Plan a Trip page, and I will be in touch.
I’m back today to share more about my trip to Turks & Caicos to tour the beautiful Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos. While there I had the pleasure of partaking in a catamaran tour with Island Routes. Island Routes is the official tour company of Sandals & Beaches Resorts, so they cater to Beaches on the beautiful islands of Turks & Caicos.
Our tour was Island Vibes Kitty Katt Cruise, and it did not disappoint! The cruise took us on a snorkeling tour then on to a deserted cay. The snorkeling itself wasn’t as great as I’d envisioned for the 3rdlargest reef in the world, but it was a very windy day making it difficult to stay in one place at a time. I did see some fish but had hoped to see a turtle and sting ray or two. However, the deserted cay was amazing! There we enjoyed the untouched beach, a walk to a beautiful lagoon, and admired the iguanas that live on the island. This beautiful, pristine cay was just incredible! I have never experienced such pure and blue waters!
All in all it was a fabulous excursion, and I highly recommend it! We can add this to your trip when you plan your Beaches Turks & Caicos family vacation with me! I would love to help you! Just complete the form on my Plan a Trip page, and I will be in touch.
I’m excited to continue sharing about the beautiful Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort. Today is all about kids’ activities on property. The resort is chock full or so many great opportunities for your little ones and teens. I cannot wait to take my own family! But for today, hopefully I can convince you to take your own family.
The moment I arrived on property I was completely smitten and missing my family like crazy! Being that it was a work trip, they stayed back home. The resort immediately had me wishing for them to experience it right along with me! I really just can’t put into words has beautiful and amazing it is for family vacations. The rooms, the pools, and, of course, the beach are incredible, but the kids’ activities truly put this resort over the top! Beaches Resorts leaves nothing to chance. They boast certified nannies, a nurse on staff 24 hours a day, and a kids camp that is included in your stay! It is no wonder it is voted the number one family resort in the world year after year. To help convince you to make this your family’s next vacation spot, I put together an overview of the activities available for children of all ages.
Sesame Street is an official sponsor of Beaches Resorts, so the whole family can enjoy their favorite characters—including the favorites mom & dad came to love as children like Big Bird, Elmo, and more, and new characters that the kids love like Abby Cadabby. You’ll find Sesame Street décor, activities including a weekly parade, and more. You can even add on goodnight tuck ins by the characters for your little ones!
The kids club is for infants up to 17 years old and is broken down into age group, providing age appropriate activities for each group. The kids camp is a Certified Autism Center by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards and are members of the International Nanny Association. Infants have a great play area inside, toddlers can swim in the 1-foot deep kiddie pool, and older children, including teens, can participate in age appropriate outdoor activities. Whether mom & dad want some time to themselves or want to give the kids a great addition to their vacation, the kids camp is an incredible asset to this beautiful resort and is INCLUDED in your vacation!
Beaches Pirates Island Waterpark is likely going to be the star of the show for the kids! The kids will love the waterslides, zero-entry pool, swim-up soda bars, and SO much more. Beaches Turks & Caicos waterpark even offers a lazy river and surf simulator! You’ll find even mom & dad will enjoy the Pirates Island Waterpark!
Along with shopping for the adults on property, Beaches Turks & Caicos boasts its very own Build-a-Bear Workshop! Kids can build a bear and dress him/her in beach attire to have a great memento of their wonderful vacation! Additional fees apply.

As mentioned before, Beaches Resorts kids camp staffers and nannies are INA and IBCCES certified. However, if you wish for your special needs child to receive one-on-one care at the kids camp or during after hours child care. A “Beaches Buddy” will be there with your child to play in a sensory-friendly are of the property. Additional fees apply.
The list of available activities for kids, and adults, at Beaches Turks & Caicos goes on and on! I'm back to share more in detail about my trip to the beautiful Beaches Resort in Turks & Caicos. Today, I'm going to share a bit about the various accommodations available. Luckily, there are price points for varying budgets, large families or couples, villas to bring grandparents & cousins, and so much more.
As I mentioned last week, the resort spans 5 villages each with very distinctive themes. The areas are the Seaside & Caribbean Village, French Village, Italian Village, and Key West Village. Each village features its own accommodations, restaurants, activities, and more. You can stay in one village but take advantage of the offerings at all of the others.
Being that there are 5 villages, it does make the resort quite large, and it can be overwhelming at first. However, after a few walks around, it is much easier to navigate and flows quite well.
I had the privilege of peaking in on several different room categories and loved them all for different reasons. The budget friendly rooms were great for those not interested in spending much time in their room. The residence suites are amazing for multi-generational family vacations. The seaside villas are perfect for honeymooners or couples looking to getaway.
My favorite rooms were:
Key West Beachfront Four Bedroom Butler Villa Residence with Private Pool
Wonderful for multi-generational family vacations—great for everyone to be together, yet still have their own space.
Italian Concierge Family Suite with Kids Room
Perfect amount of space for mom and dad to still have privacy.
Seaside One Bedroom Concierge Villa Suite
Amazing location—mid-resort near kids camp and the beach.
French Village Luxury Room
Beautiful room for a couple looking for privacy.
Caribbean Premium Walkout Room
Great budget friendly room in a quiet area.
As you can see, Beaches Turks & Caicos offers incredible rooms, suites, and villas! If you are interested in making reservations for your own stay there, I would love to help you! Just complete the form on my Plan a Trip page, and I will be in touch.
Below are photos of rooms from each of the villages. You can see the varying options, and, as you move up to butler suites, you can really see the wow factor!
