Hello again! It has been awhile, but here I am. Back and ready to share so many wonderful adventures & tips.
Today, I'm picking back up where we left off in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. If you arrive in Victoria by boat, you'll be greeted by a beautiful harbor surrounded by stunning buildings, one of the most prominent being, the Parliament Building.
Being apart of the Commonwealth of England, each Canadian province has a parliament building. Lucky for us, the one in Victoria, British Columbia is stunning! We arrived and left on weekend within a 24 hour period, so we weren't able to tour the inside of this stunning building, but the grounds were gorgeous! You can find tour information here. Since the building was not open, we took advantage of walking around the grounds. There was a gathering of some sort the afternoon we were strolling around, but it ended in time for us to not intrude in getting a closer look at the building's stunning stone work. The beautiful lawn even seems to be the perfect spot for a picnic. Here you can see a nearly 200 year old Sequoia tree, a statue of Queen Victoria, incredibly detailed stonework, and a beautiful lawn with side areas shaded by canopying trees.
The British Columbia Parliament Building is definitely worth checking out, if only from the outside, when you stop in Victoria on your next adventure to Canada or on your Alaskan cruise.
